"We came as a party of 10 and the lady who approached us was nothing short of fabulous. Nothing was too much trouble and she went out of her way to help us. We ordered chips and onion rings for the table these were piping hot, proper chunky chips with real battered onion rings, very tasty. Prices were some of the best I've seen in a pub recently. A proper old style boozer with a decent welcome to boot. Would happily recommend to anyone visiting the area."

"We loved it in here.Great place, friendly service and superb food. Quite busy when we were in, which gave it a great atmosphere. Located on the cobbled main street.Really enjoyed the food, as it was fresh and tasty and it felt like we were in the Mediterranean!We would highly recommend a visit and definitely eat there. "Went here on a Saturday evening. This seems a family run business with restaurant one side and takeaway other side of two adjoining shop fronts. The restaurant was very clean and spacious with nice quirky decoration, especially the wall paper in the toilets very clean The lady served us very bouncy and friendly owner? Menu easy to read, with a good choice and not complicated with over load. Food was nice and generous portions. The name on google is different Coull’s. Cannons."
