The Plough is an immaculate country inn. We stayed overnight, in a very comfortable and well-equipped room. Food excellent (lovely apple pie and custard) and the full Scottish breakfast comes with great haggis. Friendly and helpful service. We had stayed the previous couple of nights in a 4-star Edinburgh hotel, with pretentiously and badly designed bedrooms, and it was chalk and cheese: The Plough was so much better...
