Kona Grill - Scottsdale

My friends and I were in Arizona for a tattoo convention and this place did not disappoint!!! I personally ordered way too much food to try. The tomato basil bisque as an appetizer was amazing! Very creamy and flavorful. I also ordered 2 sushi rolls, Las Vegas and coconut shrimp roll. The Las Vegas was a little different than I expected but good none the less. The coconut shrimp was amazing! And the last thing I ordered was the cilantro lime chicken and it was to die for! The chicken was juicy and had a ton of flavor it came with rice and on top of broccoli. My husband ordered the BBQ chicken Flatbread and loved it! Their drinks were very tasty as well. I ordered the cucumber mint cocktail (can't remember the name) The waitress was extremely helpful with the menu and super super polite! Was quick to refill our drinks as well. All in all a really really good experience ????

Wow, I'm so shocked after being away for 20 years that I come back to Kona grill and have such an awesome experience. It would have never happened without the general manager Crystal D. Making me feel so welcome. Can't wait to bring my clients here and I write very honest reviews. If you agree with this please hit the like button!

This is my recommendation for anyone who is looking for weekend brunch in Oldtown Scottsdale area.. The depth of their menu is insane. How they manage to make everything delicious, even crazier. Loved their Spicy Lobster Avocado Toast,spicy lobster mix just melts in mouth and topped with fried quail egg and hollandaise sauce. Also loved Kona Loco, Jasmine rice sautéed withshitake mushroom, onion and served with seared spam, beef patty and fried egg is so unique in taste.. They?re also having some interesting flavoured mimosas.. Would love to revisit this place soon ????

I like dropping into Kona for lunch and drinks. It's usually very consistently good. They have a great happy hour menu and I've always ordered sushi when I visit and haven't tried anything else there. They have a few unique roll options as well as the standards. The patio at this location is strangely placed in an underpass out of the sun leading to the mall parking and entrance. My latest visit they were pretty busy and didn't have the staff to keep up, but they were all working hard and were pleasant. It's a nice atmosphere and worth checking out if you haven't been yet.

First of all, Bethany, our waitress was sooo amazing! She was personable, professional, funny, and easy to talk to. She also gave recommendations on the menu. We hope to have her next time we go. Our food was so good too! We had the Kona calamari and the BBQ chicken Flatbread and the margarita flight. Everything was good! The atmosphere is really nice too. Great for all occasions. I would say its kid friendly until a certain time because it just has an adult feel/vibe. Try it!
