Mesquite Grille - Scottsdale

Excellent food value and service. We have had excellent lunches on three occasions

We found the food very very nice. A lovely variety and very tasty. The architecture of the building is such that the sound bounces off everywhere and we found it quite noisy. With a couple of golfers at the bar, their conversation carried all over the area. The massive windows and resulting light is lovely but made sitting facing the window made our companions a black blank and consequently difficult to visit. When it is cooler the outdoor are would be awesome. We are now looking forward to playing golf here. Thanks

Awesome patio! Staff is great! We brought friends who had never been to Mesquite Grille. They were very impressed and plan on returning. We enjoyed playing bean bag toss after dinner. Overall very fun night good friends, good view, good food

The improvements to Mesquite Grill are immense; however, the music chosen was really odd for this type of eatery. It was a mix of opera, rap, r b, rock and roll, etc. and it was waaaaay too loud. Did not seem to go well with the TV's showing the current golf tournament. Very weird, but the food was great despite the fact that it began really noisy because of the Scottsdale Chamber of Commerce having a meeting on the patio and their presentation being made from the entrance to that space. We all felt part of it whether we wanted to or not! Should have set this up differently

The service was too slow. Our wait person apologized more than he should have to for problems. They were somewhat busy and seemed very understaffed. The food took over an hour from the time we arrived. Once we got the food it was a tepid temperature. The selection we made was a small quantity and had no taste. We both ordered something different so it was unanimous.The icing on the cake was sitting and waiting more minutes to get our check to pay. We kept trying to get the wait person's attention to no avail. It was a very disappointing experience and meal
