Playa Bowls - Scottsdale

I’m really disappointed. This used to be one of my favorite places, but after my recent visit, I’m not so sure anymore. Considering the price of gas and the 25-minute drive, paying $5.99 for a 16-ounce juice feels steep, especially when it turned out to be the worst juice I’ve ever had. Just the day before, I enjoyed a delicious bowl, so I didn’t think to double-check my order. I left feeling sad. Was it the afternoon staff? The juice was bitter, and I missed the real sweetness I used to love. Overall, it was such a letdown.

The atmosphere is fantastic here! The variety of options is incredible, and the staff is exceptionally friendly and helpful. They even have an app where you can earn rewards, so make sure to download it before you visit!

I'm an Açaí bullet, and this is by far the best I had in a LONG time. the açaí mixture is perfectly mixed and never too icey or frozen. the Granola-Açaí ratio is spot on and the fruit added to the dishes is sooo fresh and juicy. where do they get these products? I also add peanut butter to me and they don't just give them a tiny bit of peanut butter like other places do? bravo playa bowls!

Favorite acai bowl spot in Scottsdale! Delicious bowls, fresh ingredients, happy and upbeat store and consistently friendly staff. My go-to order is the Pura vida bowl (plus banana and peanut butter).
