what a pleasant surprise. we were in the city for an overnight stay and saw the OT reviews, and after looking over the menu thought that this was exactly what a cold night ordered in Scranton. started with brisket bombs and spicy tuna takkos. mmm tasty, fresh tasting and great aromas. we ordered the chicken meatballs shoyu and pig bell shoyu noodles. everything is served hot and with fresh ingredients. that was reall... our experience was sub par. we had better expected that we were several times. we went specifically for the special Wagyu special, but it was sold out what was disappointing. the meals we got were still good, but we wished to share a better option for two to Valentine's Day. we hope that we will have better experiences next time. I’ve dined here several times and have never been disappointed. This is a place you’d find in NYC nestled right here in Scranton. Incredible service with even more incredible food. Items you won’t find anywhere else in this area and you can tell the Chef puts so much heart into every dish he creates. My absolute favorite place to go in Scranton.
I used to love Peculiar Slurp but they constantly change the menu and it feels like the quality has gone down drastically. They removed Pho for their HORRIBLE rice bowls. Flavorless and burnt. The pork belly shoyu ramen gets worse and worse each time they change it and it was amazing the first time. From favorite to may never go back.
Fantastic dining experience and amazing food! Very impressed
Great food. My wife said her ramen was like a hug in a bowl! We shared a brisket bomb serving, each had a pork belly ramen, then shared dessert. All great.
