What Michelle V doesn't like about Curry Craft:
2nd time ordering, food got here in good time., quality not so great though... Ordered butter chicken, prawn korma, and chicken korma (more sauce than chicken or prawns), the chicken in those dishes more fatty than we like. This place really has potential if the quality gets better Food: 3 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 3.

I was weary to try it . But so far so good. The cheese Nan is passable though. But the chicken seemed of good quality! Pretty good. Will return. Service: Take out Meal type: Dinner Price per person: CA$20–30 Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4
We ordered two chicken dishes (Butter Vindaloo), Garlic Butter Nan and the vegetable samosas. All were incredibly good.
We wanted to love this place as it is local and other reviews are high, but we didn't. We ordered online and when we arrived at our assigned pickup they hadn't even started our order yet, so we had to wait another 20 minutes. The inside of the storefront had sticky floors, and everything felt grimy and unclean, I'd be a bit concerned with what the kitchen looks like if the front entrance was that dirty. The staff member who helped us seemed apathetic towards us and didn't say so much as hello, thank you, or goodbye when we left. The food itself was okay, certainly not the best Indian food we've had, but the curry's were all decent. The proteins included are minimal for the price you pay, it felt like not a great value to us, for the price we paid here we are used to getting more elsewhere. We've eaten here more than once and this experience is pretty standard each time.
I had the pleasure of trying Curry Craft dishes at a recent group event I attended one taste of the aloo gobi and I immediately had to know where the event organizer ordered from! The dishes are all very delicious: creamy butter chicken, flavourful chana masala. Their pakoras are crisp and addictive little nuggets highly, highly recommend. I've always ventured to NE Calgary if I was craving Indian food, but discovering this hidden gem of Indian cuisine in South Calgary is such a refreshing treat.
