The Crispy Pig is pretty great comfort food. The mood and lighting at the restaurant was wonderful. I love the ruatic look the place has with it's incandescent lights. I enjoyed the food quite a bit, but found it to be a little bland. I got the Fried Chicken for reference. The chicken is delicious but didn't have any spice to really amplify the taste. Not sure what happened here but it's not good. Been coming to Crispy Pig for 2 years and always had a good to great meal. Went there recently and they made changes and not for the better. The took pulled pork sandwich off the menu! Why? And the ribs they serve are not St Louis anymore more like packaged ribs that you quickly heat up.
