"We have eaten regularly at this local Italian restaurant and never been disappointed. The staff is eager to accommodate our wishes, the menu offers a good variety of pizzas, pastas, and meat dishes, and the prices are reasonable. There is a nice outdoor garden section at the back of the restaurant. It provides an enjoyable setting away from the noisy streets, and except for the occasional pesky bees, is our preferred place to relax and eat. That said, reservations can be helpful on busy weekends to ensure you get the spot you want."

"Let's live here! We first enjoyed the appetizer plate and then the Souvlaki, which is grilled over charcoal. The cook understands her craft here is all freshly prepared. Since no rain has to be feared since the terrace has been rebuilt, there is no reason to go home. Yamas!"

"We've been going for years, especially if we want to eat something quickly without a buck, so we're hungry, into the Waldeck, which has been operated by the same tenant for years and is a good sign. In addition to typical petty-bourgeois dishes such as steak, carving and fish, the map is crowned thanks to the origin of the host's family. In total, this is boiled decently, without experiments and at moderate prices."

"Das "Sand" ist eine altmodische, gemütliche Speisegaststätte gleich hinter dem Offenbacher Hauptbahnhof (von der Innenstadt aus gesehen). Es gibt einfache, handgemachte deutsche Hausmannskost mit großen Portionen und sehr moderaten Preisen. Das Ambiente ist rustikal-urig (s. Photo) und sehr übersichtlich, mit Thekenbereich.Durch seine Küche, sein konservativ-schlichtes Ambiente und die Lage zieht das Sand vor allem ältere Gäste an: Dunkles Holz und weiße Haare dominieren den Gesamteindruck. Wer aber einfach und herzhaft deutsch essen möchte, für den lohnt sich der Ausflug. Es gibt eine Wochenkarte mit wechselnden Tagesgerichten (immer 2, beide auch in kleineren "Seniorenportionen" für €1-1,60 weniger erhältlich), die jeweils eine Tagessuppe (Rindfleischbrühe, Hühnersuppe, Gulaschsuppe etc), das Hauptgericht und oft auch einen Beilagensalat enthalten. Die Tagesgerichte kosten jeweils zwischen €7,90 und €8,90 für die vollen Portionen. Der Mittagstisch ist von 12 bis 15 Uhr.Löblich: Es gibt neben den wenig empfehlenswerten Henninger Bieren auch das gute Krusovice im stilechten 0,3l Glas vom Fass! Die Bedienung ist immer freundlich und v.a. effizient.Hatte diesmal den Tafelspitz mit Meerrettichsoße, Salzkartoffeln und Möhrchen. Gute Portion, gut gemacht und sehr herzhaft.Alles in allem ein sehr empfehlenswertes einfaches Restaurant für den Alltag."
