"Steak was cooked to perfection and was seasoned just enough to still enjoy the quality of the cut. I would have given five stars but the staff was rushed and preoccupied with other tables. He was rushing a little too much and was very noticeable. I would expect a smoother, attentive, not that rushed feeling from such a nice restaurant."

"I've been going to this restaurant for over 25 years and use to enjoy their food. The quality of the food has gone down considerable since I had returned this time. I usually order a pizza and salad and it would include bread sticks with your meal. I recently have gone back to find out that you no longer get bread sticks with your order but instead they charge you $4 for them. Also you use to get garlic toast with your Ceasar Salad and or Greek Salad but you now get nothing. Most decent Italian Restaurants include garlic toast with their salad especially if you order the full meal size. We had ordered a Ceasar Salad this time and the salad look like the garbage pieces from the Romaine lettuce. It was mostly the white or light green leafy parts. You had to really search for any dark green leafy pieces. Also we had ordered the large size which cost $11 and the size was no bigger than a individual at most other places like Santa Lucia. The salad had about 3 croutons in it and NO cheese for its topping. The pizza I usually order is called their Special which includes salami, pepperoni, ham, tomatoes, mushrooms and green peppers. I think I found only a couple of pepperoni and two pieces of salami with mostly ham. Also when I mentioned to the server about the bread sticks which they no longer offer as complimentary he said that they had just recently stop offering them two months ago. He also said that they were never suppose to be offering these bread sticks before but the servers were giving them out when they should not have been. I find this excuse hard to believe since I have been going there for over 25 years and have always received these complimentary bread sticks. Does it take them 25 years to catch on that the servers are giving out these bread sticks when they should not have been. I DON'T THINK SO. Also most of the servers were family members that work there. Bread sticks cost very little and when you offer your customers them for years then take them away its just NOT good business practice. I am very disappointed in what I found this time and would NEVER RETURN to this place even though it was one of my favorite Italian restaurants. I will be traveling a bit further for now on and go to the Santa Lucia on St. Mary's which in my opinion is far superior to the Paradise Restaurant."

"Driving down Sargent ave trying to decide what to eat for dinner and decided to stop in at Casa Grande and give it a try. It has a classic Italian restaurant look;red and white checkered table clothes, brick and arches, pictures of old Italian guys on the wall, etc. <br/ <br/ We ordered calamari to start, and while I liked the flavours, I felt that either they didn't fry it long enough or the oil wasn't hot enough, as the batter didn't crisp up. <br/ <br/ Had a salad as well, which I did enjoy. I thought the shredded mozzarella was a good touch. <br/ <br/ Then came my pizza. Delicious! Crisp crust, nice amount of cheese and toppings. My only regret was that I didn't order a larger size. <br/ <br/ The service was good, too. Everyone was really friendly and helpful. I would definitely go back."

"We ring in the New Year at Passero last night! It was a wonderful evening; amazing food and great ambiance. They had a set menu and gave us the vegetarian option too. We love trying new things and are very glad that we went to Passero last night! Thank you everyone! Keep up the good work!"

"An amazing experience from the moment we arrived. Our server was top notch. She made great suggestions for drinks, how many courses to order, and to top it all off, paired wines with each course. The 3oz glasses were perfect for pairing. Each dish was well prepared and presented and tasted delicious!Timing of the courses was perfect too. Would highly recommend and will be back again."

"The restaurant was closed for good. Ruined our anniversary but maybe not. If it's closed down it must be awful"

"We enjoyed our recent stay in the Japanese Room even though it wasn't exactly perfect. All the rooms have a national theme. The decor sets a nice ambiance. Lowell is a great host who will give you the history of the business and the building and show you everything you need to know about operating the amenities. They also cater in, although we passed up the option this visit. The hot tub had some difficulties, but we worked it out. You have to park in a local parking garage so transporting bags can be a bit of a challenge. But that's life in the Exchange District.Great for special occasions. We'll be back for our next."

"I talked to the chef who had very good knowledge of Celiac Disease. I was completely satisfied with the protocols he described to avoid cross-contamination. Our meals were delicious!"
