What User doesn't like about Mariaggi's Theme Suite Hotel:
We enjoyed our recent stay in the Japanese Room even though it wasn't exactly perfect. All the rooms have a national theme. The decor sets a nice ambiance. Lowell is a great host who will give you the history of the business and the building and show you everything you need to know about operating the amenities. You have to park in a local parking garage so transporting bags can be a bit of a challenge. But that's life in the Exchange District.Great for special occasions. We'll be back for our next.
Great location in walking distance of many awesome Exchange District restaurant options. We got a voucher for the hotel in a social prize and had the best time. We stayed in the Mexican themed room. The hotel is not brand new or ultra-modern, but the uniqueness of the experience made up for it. We ate out for dinner at the Peasant Cookery and then stayed in the rest of the night at the hotel and had a spa-bath, a bottle of wine, and watched movies! Lots of fun for couples. Staff were great and very helpful too
This was our second visit to Winnipeg. This time we went for our anniversary, and decided to try out Mariaggi's. It was worth every penny. We stayed in the beautiful African suite. The decor was beautiful. The service was excellent, and the massage package was the icing on the cake. The location of this little gem of a place is also part of the experience. It is located in the heart of the old exchange district. The buildings are over 100 years old and the streets are lined with interesting shops. The man who runs things was curious, polite, and bent over backward to cater to our every need. His name is Lowell. This little get away help put the spark back into my marriage. I recommend Mariaggi's to anyone wanting a restful romantic get away. Thanks to Lowell and staff. We will be back!
We just spent a fabulous evening in the Morocco room. On one of the coldest nights in Winnipeg, we relaxed and spent a romantic evening enjoying dinner in the room and throughly enjoying the ambience and hospitality. Lowell and Shelly were perfect hosts catering to our every need. Already purchased a gift certificate to return in what we now know will be another romantic adventure. A real gem for the Winnipeg market !
