"Came with a friend for breakfast since she had an apt near this place. Nice little place, the food was good, I had the turkey brie crepes, I could only ate one of them it is so filling. When you arrived it says to wait to be seated but you actually seat yourself, the wait staff is so so, not that friendly. We came in the middle of the week by 830ish and by the time we left by 10am there was a line up at the door so very popular place, however, not once we felt rushed to leave. The dessert display looked great and brought a massive bread pudding and chocolate croissant. The bread pudding was moist and lots of fruits in it. The coffee was okay. Overall good experience, the crepes price was onpar with other restaurants prices."

"Do not miss a dining experience at Beaujenna's in the French Quarter of Winnipeg. In front of an unassuming house on Hamel Avenue, the first-time visitor wonders what the seven-course will be like. Once inside, the orange walls, quilted ceiling, and fresh table flowers work their charm. Beaujenna waits the eight tables while her husband works marvels in the kitchen. We are vegetarians and the chef had no trouble modifying meat courses to suit us. Each of the courses was delicious and presented in a creative manner. We loved every bite!! My wife is allergic to alcohol, but I ordered the wine servings for each course. Perfect and fun to sample. This could be the destination for a get-together with friends or a place for a couples' special occasion dinner. No doubt you will enjoy the experience."

"I try to avoid fast food altogether, and I have again resolved to avoid it like the plague. 8.00 plus for a burger and fries after a holiday meal that wasn't a hit with the young one. He thought the burger tasted weird, and only ate half."

"Overall very positive experience. The greeter was warm and friendly, just as the servers were. Food was delicious and tasted healthy. Looks like the place could use a bit of maintenance though, we noticed a couple of eyesores. Will totally go back!"

"We decided to try Van Goes pizza as we are getting tired of our regular pizza joints. We ordered on a Saturday night and the pizza arrived within the stated time frame of 45 minutes to an hour. I should have stopped the delivery girl the moment she handed me the pizza since I could feel that the bottom of the box was barely warm. Unfortunately I did not (we were hungry! . The pizza was cold, not even luke warm. How does that happen? It might have been a good pizza but really hard to tell at that point. The sauce seemed fresh, there was a good amount of cheese and pineapple, but seriously lacking on the amount of bacon. Some slices of pizza had zero pieces of bacon and the rest had only one or maybe two. Too skimpy. This pizza had the potential to be good but fell short. Not sure if we would given them a second chance since there are so many other pizza joints in the area."
