"Came with a friend for breakfast since she had an apt near this place. Nice little place, the food was good, I had the turkey brie crepes, I could only ate one of them it is so filling. When you arrived it says to wait to be seated but you actually seat yourself, the wait staff is so so, not that friendly. We came in the middle of the week by 830ish and by the time we left by 10am there was a line up at the door so very popular place, however, not once we felt rushed to leave. The dessert display looked great and brought a massive bread pudding and chocolate croissant. The bread pudding was moist and lots of fruits in it. The coffee was okay. Overall good experience, the crepes price was onpar with other restaurants prices."

"Stopped in with my wife as we happened to be walking past. There is a massive selection of individual cakes, pastries, treats, and a big selection of full size cakes also. We tried four different individual cakes and loved them all!You can sit in, although tables are limited, or take out - which was the popular choice as we sat there with a steady flow of people collecting orders or choosing from the counters. Really enjoyed.Also worth noting, there is a good selection of GLUTEN FREE cakes and pastries also!! A few people came in for these, clearly repeat customers who the staff recognised - always a good sign."

"Absolutely love this place. The staff is always super pleasant, the treats are phenomenal (go for the macarons, but don't skip the by-the-slice cake, especially when it's Raspberry! If I'm willing to wait in line in the middle of winter for these goodies, then they're TOTALLY worth it. Get there early for the best selection (and maybe get treated to samples in line! "This has got to be on of the tastiest bakeries in the city!!! The scones, cakes, breads, morning buns and croissants are out of this world!!! With French Way across the street it is always a debate as to where to go but Pennyloaf wins out most of the time! also love that they are on the local frequency! Just get there early on the weekends if you want morning buns, they go quickly!!"

"We had a fruit fro-gurt and a fruit yogurt shake. They take frozen fruits and blocks of frozen yogurt and smash them together through a machine. It is so yummy! Especially on a hot summer day."
