This is a popular little bakery as evidenced by the many folks who walked, cycled and drove to pick up some tasty fresh baked goods. On a nice morning or afternoon, there is a little shaded patio off to the side...nothing fancy but very relaxing.This bakery bakes small batches of artisans breads and they vary from day to day (check the website). What 13 77 doesn't like about The Pennyloaf Bakery:
We Bought 2 identical pieces of brownies from the same row. We tried the first piece and it tasted like a pot of coffee was poured into it. We didn 't recall seeing espresso in the name because if we had...we would not have purchased it. Later on that same night, I sliced just a sliver off the second piece. I often buy backs here, the morning balls are always a hit. Recently the coffee that is a new thing. Hafermilch Latte is #1 in the city! Do not forget a cookie:
