"Sorry, not impressed. Its five past September and there's nothing on display except Christmas stuff. Sad, really! Had a burger in the restaurant. Hmmm remember those burgers at the fairground, kept warm in a hot water bath. Well, if you liked them, the ones you get here have the same taste and texture. Soggy cardboard with a hint of onion that's just thick enough to be chewy. NOT a fan! Even the cheese was tasteless. As Arnie didn't say...I'll no be back!"

"Went to the summer panto. It was great, kids loved it. Hopefully it's on again next year cause we would come back. Went into the play park afterwards and it was good fun although I've always thought it could be doing with more shelter from the elements/sun. Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5"

"The tables are very close together in seried ranks, feels very crowded and claustrophobic. It wasn't that busy when we were there but if it were full it would feel very hemmed in. And noisy. The décor is very dated, needs a makeover. The fake cane chairs and the glass topped tables which stuff slides off towards you are very old fashioned but not old fashioned with character and charm. If I hadn't had mum with me, I would have turned around and gone elsewhere but having got her out the car, we went in. We had tea and some cake which was fine. My mum and a lot of her friend go there and like it, so I am outnumbered. But I disliked the room so much I would find it hard to like the food. There is a wide range of home made cakes, and they do soups, sandwiches, snacks and main meals. Can only comment on what we had which was fine. It appeals to its audience, and is no doubt very popular with the people who go regularly. Many of the customers are elderly, some walking with sticks, so the way it is laid out is very unfriendly, as it is a real squeeze to get to tables and even worse with it being counter service, struggling with trays to get to them. It's probably been left a bit behind by some of its competitors. I would have to be dragged back. The shopping experience is a bit mixed, there are some nice kitchen items and some very odd choices. Pictures and lamps were a very odd mixture."
