"We've stayed at the Queen Chester hotel before and ate at the restaurant, was fantastic! So we chose to stay at this hotel again and booked a table online in advance. In short.. the restaurant was understaffed and we had to sit at the bar and wait to be seated for a while after a very luke warm welcome. We were then told that the menu we had seen on the website (and chosen the restaurant based on) wasn't available. The service was slow and by 9pm (we had booked for 8pm) the staff couldn't get us out of there quick enough. We weren't even brought the bill but were told to pay at the door on the way out. During the last half hour of our meal the staff were busy setting up for breakfast. The food was actually pretty nice but the service was terrible. All in all a disappointing experience for an £80 meal. Unfortunately I won't be eating here again which is a shame because last time it was really great."

"Our family stopped here for lunch and it was amazing. Everything on the menu looked good and it was tough to choose. The drinks were very unique and several times throughout the meal, the waiter would randomly entertain us with a trick usually a drink with dry ice or similar. The restaurant itself has great art on all of the walls and incorporated into all of the menus. We had a great time and I 'd highly recommend to others, especially groups."
