"I have been going to Burhop’s since I was a child. I went to get food for NYE. They had no crab cakes ready or bread. I waited for them to roll them but you’d think you’d maybe have that stuff ready by 11 AM on a holiday where tons of people eat seafood. Took my shrimp home and got some really weird tastes. Definitely not as fresh as I remember. The dips were good but that’s about the only nice thing I have to say. No selection. Staff were very kind though!Edit- in response to you- I did call in advance and no one picked up the phone."

"Pappadeaux used to be my go to easy fix when It came to Creole style food, until recently. If you frequent this restaurant on Pasquinelli Dr. make sure you hold your breath while ordering, you'll never know when your favorites will be taken off the menu. I was devastated to find that their most popular Lobster Bisque soup was no longer on the menu. My disbelief got the best of me, as I went back and forth with the bartender, he couldn't even rationalize the change. I used to love their fried alligator but as of lately, I can't help but notice the familiar taste of fishy grease, yuck! We waited 1:45 minutes for bar seating. I ordered a large Swampthing, which I was pleasantly surprised by the amount of liquor in the drink, you pay $3 more when you order the large. My alcohol tolerance is pretty standard so I'll say if you want a good buzz you'll be fine with one drink. You will need a reservation for a table, bar seating is first come first serve. I would recommend reserving a table at least 3 hours before the time you would like to reserve as the tables go very quickly. Weekend visits, I would say at least a week out. I can't say I would go back as I'm not a fan of major changes to menus. My grandma used to say if it ain't broke don't fix it!"

"12:10 pm, we two were the only ones in the place... That should have told us something... Place is set up more like a sports bar, but with an Expensive Dinner Restaurant type menu (primarily written in Hispanic)... Prices range from $10 Lunch thru $40 Dinners. ..Don't think they know what there trying to be... Bar vs. Restaurant ? Lunch Steak Burrito was just barely OK . Steak meat was grisly, over cooked Dry, like it had been cooked re-heated... Came with rice beans nice presentation... Bartender was very pleasant attentive..Sorry, but we will not be going back ....."

"This was our second time dining at Thassos. We have eaten at many Greek restaurants and this place is definitely our favorite. The dolmades are phenomenal. We shared Mousaka and Pastichio and still brought home leftovers the portions were so large. Our waiter was very helpful in selecting our food and we love the ambiance of the restaurant and will definitely be returning."
