"This small cafe has a really nice view over the coastline, but that's not the best about it. Came here and ate their curly fries and holy mother these are the best fries I've ever eaten in my life. With 8$ not that cheap but it's definitely worth it."

"Went for lunch and the 'Trust the Chef ' option. Very glad we did. Such lovely food, amazing flavours and presentation. Excellent service and atmosphere with St Clair beach right on the doorstep."

"Absolutely beautiful deserts. We have to share the tasting menu and another desert. The deserts on the tasting menu were smaller than a full desert, but as soon as we finished, we didn't need more. We will definitely be back. It was Jum! The staff was very knowledgeable about the deserts - there were two when they, the creator of the deserts and a server. It's nice that we booked a table because it's filled very quickly."

"I paid a few visits to Artisan since they opened and every time was delighted! From the Valentines Day special cherry heart to the beautiful Opera, everything I tried was great. (Definitely recommend the cannelé! These guys Know what French pastry is!"

"We drove to St Clair on a beautiful and clear but icy cold and windy day and decided to stay in the ghosthouse for an early dinner. Great decision. It was so cozy and warm inside and we had a beautiful view of the beach. The vegan duck curry was amazing and I can highly recommend the roasted dumplings as starters (they were crispy and tasted like a cross between sommes and dumplings). As we unpack the place, it seems to be very popular, luck we have early. I'm going back to my next trip to dunedin."
