"I was the first guest in the room, but I wasn't spotted by the waitress for a while as he was sitting with her back to the entrance. Once she did spot me he was jolly and friendly. The announced the soup of the day as a spicy parsnip which I took, and selected a wild mushroom risotto. True wild mushrooms and tons of them to boot. I took the cheese option for dessert which was a good choice of Brie, blue and white (maybe Stilton and cheddar) and a glass of Shiraz. It was all very nice. Ambience wise I'd give it a 2 as it was pretty basic."
