"Not happy with the ordering app here Door Dash.The sandwiches were great. The mushroom Barley Soup was good. I ordered the Scooped Salad Platter and didnt get one of the 3 scoops I ordered. No whitefish and it is plainly on the receipt. I ordered 3 pastries and only one was delivered. I guess I didnt pay for the other 2 pastries but they also show on my receipt. DZ Akins referred me to Door Dash for refund or satisfaction."

"It was great. I ordered takeaway. Toast was crunchy, omelet tasted great, hashbrowns were amazing. Something really important, they packaged it with paper under hot food. This is to prevent the Styrofoam from melting into the food. A lot of places in the county haven't been doing this. It shows the business cares about their customers health, their food, their business, and the employees are professionals. Very important."

"Nicely surprised with this place. Friendly staff Jaime was ever so patient with us. As our first visit here it took us a little time to look over the big menu. The land fried Steak wife got Bacon eggs and Hash Browns. Great choice of food was great. Great help so hope you're hungry. Beautiful outdoor terrace. Will definitely be back in the future. Thank you for your beautiful Deli"

"Just left with a hot pastrami sandwich. I only bought a half which was a whooping $2 cheaper than the whole. The hot pastrami was cold, everything was too salty , pasta salad inedible as too salty. All went in the trash before I left the parking lot. Has this place changed owners? Never again."

"This deli has indeed the cheers t show nostalgic feeling it. Diving feels that nostalgic 80's touch, the sandwiches are thick and amazing- but my favorite part is the service. Staff are not your basic curly teenage subway server, these adults are proud of their jobs. They're mothers, fathers, grandparents. The sandwiches taste like their made from home and are treated with care. This Deli is a hidden jewel of San Diego."

"I heard about this place from my hairdresser who grew up in and moved from NY. For a 16-inch, 2-topping NY-style pizza, it only cost $21 (including tax). We walked in and placed our order around 5pm and walked out with pizza 15 minutes later. Would definitely order from Madra again when we want pizza night as it's cheaper and tastier than most fast-food pizza chains. Nice owners and great pizza- definitely give it a chance if you're in the area!"
