"Wow, what a place! my wife linda and her mother tina have accompanied me on a trip to newport. we received several recommendations from local to try bier one. when entering we were blown away from the unique chairs and decor. the young Deli man was fast to make us delicious sandwiches. he even made a picture with my mother-in-law tina! the bartender was a very nice goth lady who helped us select our drinks immensely. the locals in the bar seemed like a very satisfied crew, if not a little strange (they say the coast has this effect on the people.) Next trip to newport we will definitely be over again!"

"It's one of my favorite spots in Newport. The interior reminiscent of many Irish pubs I visited - warm wood trim, cozy seating, brass fittings, etc. The menu is pure comfort food for me, along with new favorites. I recommend the shepherd cake, the meat jam, the steak cake, the fish au Gratin and the Scotch eggs. Plan to search for street parking if you do not choose one of the nearby public lots."

"Ok so I dont know how they prepare the spicy tuna roll but holy cow it was great. the smoked salmon was also good. My wife loved the crunchy lobster roll. I would have included pictures of the sushi itself but it was too good to just stop eating. we all just devoured it."
