"Great service! Fancy area with older crowd/ people on dates. The decor is standard fancy lol. The portions are small but worth the money because it is very delicious. I would recommend the lamb, truffle chips, raw fish, even something simple like bread was amazing. I have dreams of that lamb it was that good. Honestly we ended up buying so much food because it was that good! The drinks are pretty good too. Would come back again for a special occasion."

"This was the perfect place to get to the zoo after a day. We loved the British classic pub feeling – wood cladding, bar stools, stands, punched tin ceiling, carved wooden bar – but it is more than just a pretty face. They have an extensive selection of beers on tap, wines and a full bar, and the selection of dishes are more creative than most pubs. We loved our chickens and waffles! If I lived in Auckland, I would be regular."

"I really enjoyed dinner here. You have a separate vegan menu with really beautiful mezze type of dishes. We tried the olives, babaganoush, Sicilian bread, pizza latina (flat bread with pumpkin, avo, caramelized onions and pepitas and sharing plate (drilled veg, etc.). Everything was nice and the staff was very friendly."
