"The food was fresh and cooked to order. I never mind waiting when the food arrives hot. There are lots of traditional American Chinese dishes from which to choose. For our pallets it wasn't very interesting. My 80+ year old parents loved it. The service and atmosphere were lacking but if you want to just sit and not have anyone come near your table, it works. We sat there for a long time and there were 3 tables used in total. So it is a good place to linger and talk without feeling pressure to leave. Also the portions are large."

"We arrived to a big sign out front that said dine in now open. As we walked in we were told that they had no affiliation with open table and that they were not taking dine in seating. As we tried to leave so that we could find other arrangement to feed our 4 year old we were berated with questions as to how we could possible think we had reservations and what open table was. We were not offered a take out option. Due to reservation requirements in the area we were unable to find somewhere to feed our child for another hour and a half. We will never be returning or recommending for take out or dine in."

"Exactly what I was craving- delicious “standard” Chinese takeout with large portions and affordable pricing. Super easy to get to right off the highway. Open later for takeout than most other Chinese restaurants in Portland. Plus they gave me an extra crab rangoon with my combination dinner (score). If you’re looking for the standard type of no-frills Chinese takeout that’s affordable with the expected huge portions, this is the spot. The combination takeout dinners are easily enough for 2 or 3 normal sized meals."

"This place was amazing. I enjoyed their dishes so much, starting with the aubergine with hot garlic sauce, it was the perfect amount of garlic and sweet, not too spicy, it was fresh to and hot in the temperature. I enjoyed the fish fillet in the Szechuan sauce, I could feel the paprika stun my mouth and it complimented strongly with the aubergine and the victories. I found it a perfect balance because the storms w/Szechuan chili was neither spicy nor anesthetic. I enjoyed my dinner it was so delicious. I also ordered an old fashion, it was the perfect amount of alcohol and they did not jump out on them. I feel that my money has been well used to use, I would come back definitiw!"

"Food were salty! First time I didn’t like Chinese food. Ordered salt n pepper prawn, lemon chicken and fried rice. I thought prawn will just bare with a dash of salt, pepper but fully covered with battered and no so good. Even the fried rice is salty and we have to mix it with steam rice. So it my first major disappointment with Chinese restaurants and being from Vancouver, BC i can’t help it but compare them. It’s pricey but the taste is subpar! Sorry"

"Loved everything! The 49. General Tsos Chicken was packaged perfectly. They separated the sauce and chicken so it would not be soggy. The flavor was perfect. The 1. Shanghai Style Pork Dumpling (10 were fantastic. And the 6. Szechuan Wonton with Chili Oil was spicy and still firm- no sogginess : Loved the 15. Egg Flower Soup it was exactly what my tummy needed today. 10/10 and will be ordering again!"

"The General Tso's was made to order and piping hot. Delicious sauce. Huge portions even on the lunch menu. Point off for delicious hot and sour that was only warm and pork fried rice that was dry. Get the egg drop and the steamed rice instead. Very friendly wait staff. REALLY Old School layout and pricing."

"I ordered fried yellow beef $18.95) and bullfrog with pickled peppers $39.59) . No rice, only a pair of chopsticks. The amount of beef is okay, but not very tender. The bullfrog tastes spicy but the inside of the big piece is a bit fishy. 3.5/5"
