"We booked a table for 11 of us on a Tuesday night by messenger and got a reply saying we was booked in . Has we live about a mile away we decided to walk there so everyone can have a drink , on arrival...we was told by the bar person that he as no record of the booking as it was not in the book, as he was on his own with only a chef in the kitchen catering for11 of us make take some time ,(Unbelievably this is the second time this as happened to us , more fool us) thought we would give our local business another chance even though the reviews was not good , but it seems they can’t even get a booking right it would be a recipe for disaster, so we left to eat elsewhere, got taxis to mill dam at greasbrough , what a difference they could not do enough for us , The management need to manage this business if they want customers to come in and spend money, cause at the moment is not working with bad reviews, We will not be visiting this public house any more period."

"I was given a separate vegan menu to choose for and the food was wonderful! Started with vegan cheesey garlic bread which is huge! I shared with none vegan friends and they were impressed! The vegan hotdog is lush but messy haha got more of the sauce on my face than in my mouth but 10/10 would order again. Treated myself to a scoop of vegan ice cream and it was gorgeous! Very happy to enjoy a great meal with none vegan friends and not feel left out with rubbish options [censored]"

"Not only was the food really good (get the sesame chicken it's so nice) but Tia made our visit even better. She was not only really nice but also made sure we were always topped up with drinks. Can't wait to come again and hope...we get her for a server next time too"

"Recently visited with family, and although busy nothing was too much effort for the staff. catherine was friendly and greeted us with a warm welcome. the children have already asked when we can return."

"Honestly, usually decent food but the majority came over cooked tonight. Some of the steaks were like chewing leather, hunters chicken torched from a furnace and onion rings resembling Catherine wheels and with the texture of charcoal. Add to that half the menu not available made for a poor experience unfortunately"
