"Don't understand why it doesn't have more than 4 stars. My Kiwi friend recommends to see here when I come to Auckland and I'm here today! To be honest, it was the best bbq place I ever was in NZ and Brisbane. And super cheap! Cheaper than other places in Wellington or Brisbane that cost me $40. Really good value and will miss here. Many secondary dishes, Korean main dishes and good meat. Love it! ‡"

"Dined before lockdown with 8 of us. They only allow one cooker between 4 people. If you want additional cookers you have to pay extra. <br/ <br/ They have a vast selection of meat and sauces. The food seems fresh but I would have liked to see more sides and vegetables in the buffet.<br/ <br/ Dessert was ice cream and some fruit. There is a 2 hour dining time limit but that's plenty of time."

"Initially the menu looked great and service seemed okay considering it was the day after Boxing Day. However, we ordered 4 meals and they all came out about 10 minutes apart, Luke warm, extras were forgotten and the hollandaise was questionable. No one followed up about our food and we got a limp apology for the forgotten food. Expensive for what it was. Would not got back or recommend."

"Since there are trillions of Korean restaurants in Auckland nowadays, my expectations are high. Taste once, move on to the next. But Jami, Jami Jami. I would love to come back and taste the whole menu.<br/ <br/ The highlight, of course the chargrilled chicken with BBQ sauce! As listed on their front page. Smoky, slightly spicy, juicy, finger licking good. Best Korean chicken easily!<br/ <br/ The classic spicy beef soup is not your average quality ones that all tastes the same. The soup is super flavourful, Chucky strips of beef, generous amount of been sprouts and mushrooms. The wild rice is a nice touch! I'm happy.<br/ <br/ The chef even came out and seasoned our soup which we though it was very thoughtful of him. And the staff worked there was very helpful and friendly. <br/ <br/ One very pleasant Korean dinning experience it was. Highly recommended."

"Personally one of the best Korean eateries on the North Shore. I love their bbq squid which is always cooked so perfectly, and their side dishes include some of my favourite foods. One thing they could improve on is the level of spice of their dishes, tried the mild which was not very flavourful while the spicy has more of a sweet taste which I enjoyed but could be a bit more spicy The owners are also really friendly love people and the restaurant has a nice vibe"

"Bird On A Wire is the damn og place, been here so many times and always get the same baguette. The baguette I always get is called 'The Classic Baguette ' which has chicken, mayo and cos in it, it 's pretty basic for $11 but it 's really fresh and yum. I wouldn 't say it 's worth $11 it 's a bit pricey man. Although I would recommend going here as all the food is freshly served and all looks super cute in instagram photos x"
