"I had a short stint working in the area, and would occasionally (maybe once a month) get some day old items.Over that time I had a regular croissant, a chocolate almond croissant, a lemon cookie (shortbread maybe), a pretzel, two breads, a strawberry tart, and a few different doughnuts.They were all very good, and then considering they were day old, I was blown away. The joys of good baking is you can re-heat in a toaster oven and things like croissants are almost as good as new.I just finished the chocolate almost croissant and it was incredible, best bite I've had so far.Unfortunately my work is ending this week, but if I find myself in the area in the future, I will search out Swiss Bakery."

"Extremely expensive for portion sizes. Ordered a salmon sandwich and a cookie. Both very small for a combined price of almost $18! Used to be a go to stop in Olympic Village, but no longer."

"Walking in, you could tell that this place had a very cozy and friendly atmosphere. They had such a large variety of options to pick from and they all seemed very unique and flavourful for sure. However, I had ordered a cheese toastie and was told it would take about 10 minutes to heat up. Unfortunately, it took about 20 minutes before I went up to the counter again asking for how much longer it would take. I was then told about a minute or so. About 5 to 10 minutes later, I went back up again and was told it would be another 3 minutes. About 5 minutes later, I got my meal. So, in total, it took about 40 minutes for me to get my sandwich. I work in the service industry, and saw how busy it was so I was very understanding and accepting of the situation despite the long wait time. They even gave me a free brownie for the trouble which I appreciated a lot and was not expecting. However, 40 minutes for a cheese sandwich was rather disappointing. That being said, I would go again for sure."

"Let me tell you, I've been staring at their pies on their website for about 6 days. The wait was well worth it especially for someone who's never had pie in the morning. . Location: Peaked Pies 975 Denman Street Vancouver. Meal: Ned Kelly, Rise and Shine, and Apple Crumble. Atmosphere: Small place but plenty of seating. Love the hanging lights and bar seating near the window."
