"A friend and I took 3 children to Cora's for a special Saturday Brunch. It was getting close to 1pm, and there was a line-up to get into the restaurant, as well as a long line of people waiting to pay for the meal and leave. In spite of the busyness, the staff was friendly and attentive. (Our girls had a little sample of Maple Fudge while we waited for a table - which took less than 10 minutes.) Our server took time to explain the kid's menu...even pointing out that there was a charge for refills so that there were no surprises on our bill. Once we placed our order, it took over half an hour for it to come (2 adult meals, and 2 kids meals). All the food was plated nicely, and the fresh fruit was delicious. However, the portions seemed to be smaller than pictured...and smaller than the last time I visited a few years ago (as I remember leaving quite full at that time). The food was tasty, but not exceptional. We all ate everything on our plates. The kids meals would have been a good size for a pre-schooler, but our group of 9-11 year olds were still hungry after. Our adult meals were good, but I expected more food for the price. (I do realize that fresh fruit can be expensive in the winter.) While I would eat here again, I wouldn't rush to make a point of doing so. I would recommend this as a "do it once for the experience"...and make sure you order one of the platters that has the artfully arranged fruit."

"Stopped in for brunch with my friends and had a great meal! It was our first time at OEB and our server, Chelsea, did an amazing job with describing everything on the menu and answering our questions! We took her suggestions of trying out ?the soul in thebowl? and it was fantastic, I would recommend this dish to anyone! Chelsea was super patient with us and really made us feelwelcomed, can?t wait to come back!"

"A great breakfast! My son and I visited on a Saturday morning at 8:30. There was no line at this time in the morning. I have been at lunch on other occasions and it has been very busy. This proved to be. Great time to visit. My son had the fruit crepe, with custard , he was able to request no cantaloupe and this request was easily fulfilled. I had the Jo Construction breakfast which was three eggs, hash browns, sausage, bacon and toast. This breakfast was excellent except for the bacon. The bacon was very thin and had a bit of an off taste. Is suspect it was of the precooked variety In the past I have felt the same about the bacon at Cora's. I would suggest improving the bacon selection and perhaps reducing the number of pieces of bacon on offer. An important detail in and otherwise great breakfast. Service was great."

"Great food and you can't beat the price. One of the few places in Winnipeg where you can get a full, good meal of greasy spoon food for under $10 (with coffee! . Great for a big breakfast before work or a sandwich on your day off."
