"Skip the Pig n Pancake and come here instead. I read online someone said this was the best breakfast sandwich they'd ever had and wanted to see for myself. Well, it totally lived up to my expectations. Fresh scratch made biscuit, delicious sauce, crispy flavorful bacon, perfectly cooked egg and yummy melted cheddar. Soooo amazing. I wish I could have another one, it was the perfect breakfast sandwich but I'm all the way in WA. If I ever go to Seaside again I'll be stopping here. I do wish I could have tried the cheddar biscuit but they were out, regardless the regular biscuit was fabulous."

"Instead of a food truck, it’s a food boat that used to be a salmon fishing boat. Great reuse of materials. They’ve been in business a long time and are on a street with free parking. Be aware as I wasn’t, that it’s cash only and the fish is tuna, not the usual cod or haddock. If one doesn’t know this, they’ll think something is off or dry about the fish but for tuna, it was actually really good though I still prefer cod or haddock as my fish for fish n chips. These are more like fried tuna chunks similar to a very large chicken nugget. The small portion is three pieces for $10. I liked the batter and the tartar sauce that came with it. The chips are steak fries which is actually the norm in the UK but in the UK, pubs and restaurants by the coast now offer fries as an option. I’m not a huge fan of thick steak fries and wish there was another option like coleslaw."

"Fresh crab shrimp cocktails, with the best cocktail sauce. We always get a large. Husband got a crab melt, which he loves the bread it comes on. I loved the 5 piecebasket of halibut. The halibut chunks are so moist the batter is hot crispy. I was stuffed after our visit.Served with a coleslaw tartar sauce. They have cold cans of soda. Loved the outdoor seating options, your dogs can sit with you on the lower seating area by the river. This place has fresh seafood and do not judge this place by its cover. We come here every time we come to the coast. Employees were very kind."

"Firehouse was great for portions and service. Our waiter was excellent, friendly and ready with suggestions. The food was good too. The biscuits were good and better with butter. My ABCTS omelette was flavorful and had plenty of cheese but was light on avocado. The sweet roll was one of the biggest I?ve ever seen. My daughter?s breakfast burrito was indeed grande and she liked it too. My wife?s light breakfast fit the bill for her and was tasty too. Atmosphere was quaint and well done with historical snippets and photos all around. Very good. I?d come back if we ever come back to Seaside."
