a great experience avoids costing to all. 28.00 for a bottle of water, chips and sandwich lol, and the sandwich never arrived, so had to jump to make my flight. looks like this is the norm based on assessments. it's not hard to make it better, seatac! View all feedback.
What Mark S doesn't like about Capitol Hill Food Hall A Gates:
On a positive note, the fries were good, and the draft beer at Tap and Pour was excellent. The seating area was spacious and comfortable, and the screen-based ordering system worked perfectly. Because of these aspects, I’m bumping my rating up slightly. However, I will never forget that terrible burger—it was the worst I’ve ever had, even compared to other places I’ve visited abroad. I was looking for something delicious to eat, and being quite a picky eater, I noticed the shell chowder on the menu and thought it sounded perfect for me. However, when I approached the counter, I saw a closed sign. I asked the woman sitting behind the counter when they would open, and she kindly let me place an order anyway. My brother and I took our time deciding which soup to choose, and they even offered us samples before we made our decision. The seafood bisque was fantastic—hot, flavorful, and a generous portion. I truly appreciated the kindness of the woman who assisted us.
Disappointing burger. It's hard to believe a burger could be messed up this badly. My girlfriend and I couldn’t even finish ours. The clam chowder also left a bad taste in our mouths.
The food was what I would expect from an airport restaurant. I had the fish and chips, which were fresh and decent. However, the bar experience was disappointing. I ordered an Old Fashioned for $21, but the quality was lacking; I didn't even see any premium liquor options. It wasn't memorable, aside from the high price. There are better dining options available, so I recommend choosing a different airport restaurant.
The restaurant offers a wide variety of food and drinks, including a bar and a coffee shop. They have prepackaged sushi available for $13.20, as well as soft drinks, snacks, chips, and more. Additionally, they serve pizza and hamburgers, among other options.
