Neon Taco's replacement definitely brings back some similar flavors. My friends and I visited on a Sunday evening so the bar was fairly empty. The menu included chicken tinga, carnitas, and a vegetarian option. The fillings and sauces were delicious, and I have to give respect for maintaining the fresh tortillas. What User doesn't like about El Xolo:
The slimy green stuff they call salsa is the worst excuse for salsa I've ever encountered. The $11 drinks are tiny and sugary, and the $3 tacos are 3 bites. I bicycled across Mexico 2 years ago, so I know what good Mexican food, and frankly I'd rather have taco bell than eat here again. View all feedback.
