the hiking goose brings the south kitchen to a new level. the best place in the city to eat the southern comfort and get home style desserts. the cookies are spectacular. everything I had here is wonderful. only place to get land ham, not to mention huge slices of layered cake in thick butter cream frosting, big enough to share with a whole table of people. oma approved it! my favorite bakery in seattle. I'm pretty happy that I tried the Wandering Goose since it was on my list, but I don't think I'd come back to this place again. I had pretty high hopes...

Must brunch spot in Seattle! The counter ordering actually works well for turning over tables though I wouldn't recommend more than four people dining here...
