What Estelle Grant likes about Tsukushinbo:
We came 5 mins before our reservation but the table was not ready until 25 minutes later. Because they didn't have the table clean and prepped and they were running a bit behind. That story plays out the entire dinner night. Come and expect to wait long for food. We got the beef tongue but it was not what we are expecting. The tongue was so tough that would require at least two to three minutes to chew through. The o... View all feedback. What Lelia Romaguera doesn't like about Tsukushinbo:
I thought the sushi were ok, but the hot food (kinoko tofu and soft shell karaage) were good. However, this was all before the server spilled the tofu dish on us, and all we got was a verbal apology and a clumsy clean-up. I left dinner feeling annoyed and still had to clean my clothes and shoes after getting home Not a good experience… View all feedback.

read moreThis restaurant in Seattle offers Japanese cuisine that is a mix of highs and lows based on recent reviews. Despite some mishaps with service, such as spilled food and long wait times, the overall experience can be positive. Some customers have praised the fresh and flavorful dishes, especially the Una Tama Jyu and Saba miso-ni, while others were impressed by the attentive service provided by Sho and his team. The cozy atmosphere of the restaurant adds to its charm, making it a favorite for some diners. However, for others, the food was found to be average or overpriced. While the sushi and sashimi received high marks, other dishes like the beef tongue left something to be desired. Overall, it seems that this restaurant is worth a try for those looking for a unique dining experience in Seattle's International District.
