"First time trying this place and it was great. Staff was friendly. Food was good. The drinks were good. The place has a great atmosphere. Great decor. Has a family section and a bar area. The restroom was very clean and wheelchair accessible. They also have a family restroom which is great for people with kids. Ample parking. Located right on the main street into Long Beach. We went on a busy Saturday and they warned us they were a little short staffed, but they did great. Will definitely eat here again next time I'm in Long Beach!"

"Very clean, spacious, and quiet. Owners are very friendly and happy to answer questions. Staff is always professional and friendly. Drinks are excellent and fresh-made. Haven't had everything on the menu, but fajitas, pollo crema, taco salad, and birria tacos are excellent! The birria tacos are the best in the area. Perfectly crisp tortillas. The broth is amazing, I drink the rest of it on the side."

"I highly recommend The Cove at the Golf Course Peninsula. The food was absolutely phenomenal, although they were extremely busy and understated for the day. I had the Swiss dip that was so tasteful; it was the best diving sandwich I ever had. Hold by and use this gastronomic treasure. "Wow! First, the food was excellent. We started with beet salad. My wife and friend had razor clams, another friend had sturgeon. I'm vegetarian, I found the mushroom ravioli to be delicious. For dessert, we split a tiramisu and homemade ice cream. Our server Juan did a great job. Prices were reasonable. It was so good we were back the next morning for breakfast. My wife had Willapa Bay oysters, which she reported were fresh and delicious. We also split and order of New Orleans beignets.I had the blueberry waffles with blueberry syrup, it was wonderful. We highly recommend the 42nd Street Cafe if you're on the Long Beach Peninsula."
