Stopped for a coffee and a bite on our drive to Kaikoura. Enjoyed the cheese scones and sausage rolls. Worth a stop if you are hungry.

"Finally made it over to Gramado's and wish we'd gone sooner! The food is excellent and the service warm and welcoming. <br/ <br/ Must comment on the black beans and rice. I've had this prosaic sounding, but addictively delicious dish in restaurants around the world. When done perfectly as it is here it's not only addictively delicious, but lets you know that there's a master hand in the kitchen."

"This was our first Indian experience in New Zealand and we were not disappointed! Everything from the starters to the mains to the dessert were incredible! My girlfriend and I were very pleased, we’d highly recommend the mixed plater and the chefs specialties for mains such as Methi Lamb and Achaari Lamb! Will be back! "We had our 1st Wedding Anniversary dinner here. And it was a night to remember!!! Tried snails for the first time and it was exceptionally delicious. All of their food we tried was made with love and care and packed with amazing flavours. Definitely worth the price. The service staff were super friendly and helpful and very knowledgeable about the food on the menu and the wine on their list. The head chef even came out with our profiterole dessert. He had a lovely sense of humour and the best tasting dessert we had so far. Our experience started with a high and ended on a high. So highly recommend to dine here."
