"I went to vinos I june and had a lovely ploughman's lunch, I took my daughter and her family tonight and although the hosts were lovely, friendly and welcoming the meal was disappointing, we had a sharing ploughman's for 3 for £30. It consisted of half a scotch egg, one and half slices of ham, 1 mini pork pie, 2 pieces of bread(for 3 people), small piece of cheddar cheese and blue cheese and far too many crackers and salad which to my mind was to fill the board that the ploughman's came on. Again, the hosts were lovely it was just a shame we all left hungry!"

"We made a special trip up for my son’s birthday and planned our whole day around having lunch here. I even messaged them the day before to double check they’d be doing food (to which they replied, “yes serving lunch from 12pm” . We arrived shortly after 1pm to be told there was no food this lunchtime as they had a private function on!! To say we were disappointed was an understatement. It put a downer on our day, made us rearrange our plans last minute and we had the inconvenience of then having to drive around looking for somewhere else to have a very late lunch with 3 hungry children in tow! It would of been understandable if we had just turned up but the fact I’d messaged the day before and been told they would be doing food, surely they knew they had a function on???!!"

"I found this truckstop by chance . If you blink you pass it . Google map it 1st . I always stay here when I'm near by . Much better than busy Bridgewater truckstop. "Family night last night and my first time visit. Friendly warm welcome, excellent facilities and well organised team. Food was fabulous and we were well looked after very well at our table. Extremely reasonable pricing of food.We had a great night thanks to all the hard working staff and management. A very big thankyou to everyone on the night. Will definitely return and would highly recommend The Ring of Bells to everyone.Well done."
