What alfp likes about Fortes:
The gluten-free carrot cake was delicious. They informed me about which items were fried with gluten ingredients, so I easily swapped my fries for a jacket potato. The venue is wheelchair accessible, and the staff were friendly, helpful and patient. Overall, it was great value for money. View all feedback. What adyval doesn't like about Fortes:
Had brunch here whilst holidaying nearby. great menu but my breakfast was awful. Fatty bacon, dried up fried egg, awful sausage and too many hard baked beans. plate was hot but the food wasnt. View all feedback.

read moreFortes in Burnham has a long-standing reputation for its classic menu and friendly service. While some customers have experienced delays and minor issues with portion sizes, many continue to frequent the establishment for its quintessential milkshakes, sweet treats, and comforting dishes reminiscent of homemade favorites. Despite occasional hiccups in service and quality, Fortes remains a charming spot for a cup of tea or a delightful afternoon snack. With a prime location near the coast and loyal patrons returning year after year, this traditional cafe is a beloved staple in the Burnham dining scene.
