Wir hatten uns sehr auf einen exquisiten Gourmetabend im Bernstein gefreut. Was wir nicht wussten und man uns auch nicht sagte, dass donnertags ein Grillabend mit Selbstbedienung statt findet. "It is good to see that the cook was more and more courageous to try out the seasonal menu. This time there were no oysters available (from September to April, availability), but as seasonal specialities I tasted summer truffles Omelette and Gazpacho. The Omelette was delicious: light as a feather, with a generous part of the truffles and some cherry tomato inside. It was served with some salad on the top (letter mix with cherry tomato) and sad, although delicious, the salad (especially its delicious dressing) distracts my taste buds from the star of the show – the truffles... In my opinion, it would be best to serve the salad separately (or at least not on the omelet) with just one line of olive oil or a classic vinaiigrette... The Gazpacho was also delicious. – I could feel the peppers, tomatoes and cucumbers with some olive oil and vinegar. – A small surprise – some cold steamed shrimps inside just to compensate for the strong taste of spices. – Perfect for a hot day! Anyway, I was glad that the Salat Maison with shrimp was still on offer. - Delicious as always. This time the Austrian Gruner Veltiner was my great discovery. – It was perfect with the above dishes, light and fruity, with notes of minerality and pepper. And... look at the light green notes in your glass!"
