The hotel is out in the country, not walkable to town, but the view of Lake Lucerne from the dining room and our balcony was breathtakingly beautiful. It's a ways down the mountain to the town of Stans, but nice place to visit. The rooms were clean, bathrooms small but clean. The view was the best part. Stopped for a lunch on swiss national day. The terrasse ioffers a stunning view over Lake Uri, the Schwyz region and the Mythen peaks, but the food was unfortunately not onpar with scenery. My salad was okay, my wife's fish overcooked and drowned in sauce. Service friendly, value for money acceptable. I would advise stopping over for coffee or desert rather than a meal. read more.
