"They don’t give enough sauce for the 6 bowl and don’t give an option to order more sauce for delivery. I called and spoke to someone asking for sauces and they said they would make sure there were extra and upon delivery- dry bland chicken and rice- half empty sauce cup. I’d gladly pay for it! Please have employees follow through on order add ons and add the option for extra Sauce on the Uber apps. This happened 2 times now."

"It is a little piece of my Colombian land, everything they sell is super mega delicious: the empanadas, the fritters, the meat pies, the sandwiches, they also have a great variety of food, their work staff, the girls who serve are very attentive and professional, they are bilingual English and Spanish speak."

"This has been one of my favorite places in Tampa Bay area for vegan food. The dishes are very well prepared and so flavorful. I have tried 7-8 dishes from them and have loved almost all of them. Jerk fried rice and Curry mei fun are on the top for me. They are very thoughtful about their cooking and cleaning practices and the entire staff is very warm and friendly. Highly highly recommend it for meat and non meat eaters."

"What a great place with a GREAT staff! Thanks to Jennifer, Eva, and the whole staff for a FUN-filled Saturday night with Minim! Took the ferry over from St Pete to support our friends band. Great pours with a menu that has something for everyone. Te plant based burger was great and those tater tots! The best! Grilled cheese Sammy with extra cheese to go was Aces!"

"Well the new owners have started the changes. Ordered waffles. They are frozen and they warm them up on griddle. But when I go out for breakfast I don't want frozen Waffles. I can get that at home. I sure hope this isn't the new way of doing business. Service: Dine in Meal type: Breakfast"

"The real deal. Everything was absolutely delicious. Brisket, ribs, shrimp, corn, potatoes, sausage, and eggs. The whole family, down to the two year old, was in heaven. The bbq sauce was one of the best I've ever had, I really wish I had picked up a bottle. Not at all spicy as another reviewer said (my toddler can back me up there). Ordered online ahead of time. Glad I checked in early because they were out of grits and I picked a substitute (not sad, the other shrimp platter we did instead came with the best potatoes and eggs ever, that garlic sauce is gold). It does take a bit, but it's 100% worth it. It probably wouldn't be what it is faster.There's a picnic table, but we took our food to a park down the road. Definitely adding this to our regular spot coming in and out of Tampa when we come to town. And next time I'll think to take pics of the food, but honestly, if you like real BBQ, you don't need them."

"In town for work and Island J Shack was close and looked good. Wow! Am I ever glad I chose this place. The food was amazing!! I ordered the J Chicken. It came with rice/beans and steamed vegetables. Big portions and the price was great. Everything was SO tasty!! I will be back next time I am in the area. ??"
