Undoubtedly a must on any Douglas restaurant list. Very cozy super friendly staff. Music volume ideal for a conversation, but above all: fabulous food. Had the Manx Queenies crêpe as starter: excellent! The main, Lobster, the small 1lb version, was actually a generous part at a great price. Other than that, the bread they bake in the restaurant has an amazing variety and is hard to resist! Five stars all around! View all feedback.
What زینا پناهنده doesn't like about Tanroagan:
Lobster was not fresh at all, probably the worst lobster I've tasted, tasted a bit rotten. Fish sole was okay, the only thing that was decent but it was a tiny portion. Manx Queenies was bland and tasteless. I recommend against coming here. Not sure why this place has such good reviews. Edit: the manager took the lobster off the bill. I appreciate the gesture. A fantastic place to eat in Douglas. We were looking for a place to eat fresh fish, and we came across this place. Eating was amazing with great choices: the sole and the skate wing can totally recommend. The service was really thoughtful and nice. And the atmosphere is great and not too loud
Two really delicious meals here tonight. As always, the service was impeccable and can't blame! Tan Roagan is still one of the best seafood restaurants on the island, but don't take my word for it, give it an attempt to see yourself!
This place is excellent. The menu is seasonal and always fresh, the drinks are generous and the desserts really compliment the meal. Very recommended, will definitely return to the next visit to the Isle of Man.
Perfect staff service. I am on a bussines trip alone and went next door to the little fish cafe first but they won't give me a table for 2 and will only let me sit at a cramped tiny bar backed to other people in and out. Came here, no problem, busy place but still welcomed me. If you are a small person like me though dont try to eat a whole fish they really give you your money's worth.
