"We ate for six consecutive nights in l'authentique, each meal was a tribute to the chef's skill and his real feeling for his ingredients. highlights? the freshwater prawns, the superbly cooked american steak, and best of all, perfectly cooked and presented duck. the food was light, flavourful, and beautifully presented. we put the wine choice in the chef's hands, and drank exceeding well. It's worth the trip to Lion just to dine at this restaurant, but be warned, it is small, book ahead."

"As good as ever. My wife and I had the 25€ menu (actually the less expensive) and there was a large range to choose from each of three of the four courses the cheese course was fixed. The Salad Presbytére is salad with red grapefruit, avocado pear and salmon slices delicious. For the main course I had the lamb cutlets (a generous helping) and my wife the fish which she says was cooked to perfection. A carafe of red wine and coffees afterwards rounded off a lovely lunch (our 57th wedding anniversary)."
