What Rodney Bowers likes about Downtowner:
Step back in time and enjoy a small town diner. Try out one of the daily specials. I had turkey and gravy with collard greens, candied yams, and green salad. It also included cranberry sauce and cornbread muffins. The greens were cooked like my mom's and were delicious. It's kind of hidden but easy to find right across the street from the public library. What Lois Laister doesn't like about Downtowner:
I called in my order and arrived 15 minutes early. I was told that the order wasn't ready. The order came upfront 30 minutes later. I asked for a receipt and the lady at the register gave me a written receipt with the order and prices scribbled on it. Me, assuming that the order was correct, I did not check it before I left. When I arrived home, three minutes away, the food was cold. I will never patronize this place... View all feedback.
