Sushi No Mercado - Senhora da Hora

The thing that I appreciate the most in this Sushi restaurant is that we can eat Atlantic fish instead of the standard fish species and the unknown butterfish . Here we can easily eat mackerel (Trachurus sp), Meagre (Argyrosomus regius), wild European Seabass (Dicentrarchus labrax). Obviously...that farmed raised salmon, plus tuna species are served too... But if you look for a new, customized sushi experience, you can get it here... Fish are bought in the Matosinhos market, which attests for its freshness! Staff are nice and dedicated! In terms of price-quality this is one of the best ones in Portugal.

I liked the food, even if it wasn't spectacular. Staff was really friendly, the place is tiny and not very comfortable but overall it was a nice experience.

This small place is right inside the fish market and is a bit drafty since a door is open into the market. The sushi was really fresh, but it wasn't the most comfortable place for the money. Plenty of sushi buffet places that includes a lot more for the same price and offers a really comfortable setting. The staff was friendly though and it is super convenient if you're in the market.

We went to the fish market last week but the sushi resteraunt just closed so said we would come back..we had the most amazing sushi !!!!!!! the staff and owner could not have been nicer....they gave us a few extra things to try like salmon with sugar and a veggie roll.we will go again to eat before we leave porto..great lucnch, nice staff.thankd from ylur american friends....
