Food was ok it is exactly what you would expect a restaurant in the forest to be Burger was dry, pasta was basic however the wait staff was nice.

"My husband and I have been stopping at this restaurant for years after our hiking days at the Sequoias . Always felt comfortable with great atmosphere and friendly staff. We have always loved to order our calamari appetizer but this time we found out they have changed it into O-rings you get less and the price went up . They had plenty of new staff but not friendly they wouldn?t even acknowledge us and we noticed they smiled and talked to the people on the other tables. We don?t mind spending money there but now I?ll think twice before I take my grandkids and kids there. My family has loved it there all this years . I truly hope they hire nicer staff. I know we?ll give it another try let?s see how it goes because knowing me I will post another review."

"Kaweah Chakra is a hidden gem in Three Rivers, CA. It's truly a wonderful place that will leave you so well rested you will want to plan your next trip before you leave. I highly recommend staying here, it includes breakfast and never ending views. If you can't stay here (I don't know why you wouldn't you can also contact them about arranging for a dinner (reservations required since it's probably only your party at the dinner table . Chef Lori cooks farm to table she uses high quality ingredients that are in season. The staff are amazing Shari the Innkeeper will make sure that you get everything that you want out of your stay. The Chef Lori will treat you like royalty catering to all of your food preferences and allergies. I planned a trip for my husband's birthday. I wanted it to be special and Shari and Lori hit it out of the park for us. We were upgraded to the Raj Suite (has it's own personal steam room our favorite . Also has a soaking tub and gorgeous views of the river and mountains. We also arranged for all meals to be catered by Lori, she exceeded our expectations! I was expecting yummy food but this was mouthwatering memorable can't wait for my next meal kind of food. If you want a perfect magical day like we had during our stay it can look like this: We woke up to do a yoga/meditation session that Shari led for us. It was so refreshing and relaxing. Followed by a delicious breakfast made by Chef Lori. Chef Lori packed a picnic lunch/snacks for us to take into the Sequoia National Park with us (soo good! . Came home after a little hiking/visit to General Sherman Tree...including snow covered mountain tops (a must relaxed in our steam room before dinner. Dinner time with Chef Lori preparing another tasty meal...taking our first 2 courses pre massage. Massages by the fireplace in the living room, followed by entree/dessert before we tucked in for bed. Seriously terrific place, you definitely need to check out!"

"There seems to be some confusion about whether or not food is available in Sequoia, and this place (the market) is open by year The grill closes at the end of Oct. but the market is a larger than ordinary convenience store. They have handmade sandwiches and fruits along with all other prepacked items. Unfortunately, the grill flatters its windows when they turn off what makes the whole place look closed."

"So a nice place with a warm and friendly staff!! Great food. Nice portions. Overall, highly recommended pit stop if you are travelling to the Sequoia National Park!! Or just in the mood for some sandwiches and wine! Yum!"

"One of my favorite places where we stopped through the park. The pizza is huge! My fiancé and I have the works and the new black camp before our hike. It was so filled that even after our hike we needed more time to get hungry again."
