Fantastic local spot for a poncha or a nikita (the local Madeiran cocktails). Just jump off of the throughway in the middle of the island and chill out for a cocktail. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Taberna da Poncha:
This is a very busy roadside Poncha bar that is a well-known Madeiran landmark. Particularly busy at Christmas time it attracts locals and visitors alike. Not my favorite Poncha bar anymore but still a good spot to take someone you like for a drink and peanuts in the shell. Many quiet nooks to enjoy conversation and a few laughs.
