I had a baby shower booked here in November, paid £100 deposit. I got a voicemail to say it was cancelled because of the restaurant being closed. When I called back the next day and consecutive days after there was no answer. I understand that as a small business things can change at short notice but the £100 deposit refund would have been nice at the minimum as the cause of cancellation was not on the customer side.
