"Not only the best place to eat in newtown, but it is also the best place to eat miles and miles. beautiful atmosphere and good beer. pretty hard to really find a critique. priced it is very reasonable and for the quality, a bit below price. highly recommended."

"Very nice restaurant. I ordered from the early bird menu, 3 courses for £19.95. The set menu is quite short, but has an option for most tastes.I had the Salmon and Dill fishcake starter, which was very good. The fishcake may have been slightly over done, but the vinaigrette on the salad was incredibly tasty.My main was the Spicy Chicken Salad, which had much more chicken than I expected, I'm not so into anchovies, but they were okay in the salad.For dessert I had the White Chocolate Brulee, it was amazing and had that signature crack to get through the top of the Brulee.Our waitress was incredibly professional and attentive. I would happily come back to The Granary on my next visit to Newtown."

"This was the first thing we ate when we arrived on holiday and now it is all I want to eat for the rest of the week. perfectly crispy, incredible chips and served by a super friendly and helpful team. it was attacked by the host of our airbnb as the best fish and chips in the world and they were not exaggerated. superb!"
