"Our group came here at the recommendation of a guide on our boat trip earlier that day and we were very happy with it. Great atmosphere, good prices and the service and food were right on. I only deduct one star because their large bucket of 'but is actually just a standard salad bowl of fried halibut. It was delicious and plenty for the price, but I really had my heart set on that bucket landing in front of me! Don 't let my semantics sway you though, this place is gold."

"Amazing eating and karin was an absolute joy to have as server. she is super friendly and bubbly. my only feedback for the personal is that they try to sit people more timely or let people sit themselves; I had to wait 10 minutes at the door and watched others wait and then go. it is a shame to lose the business because eating is so delicious."

"HOLY SMOKES, SMOKE SHACK!!! Easily my favorite place for breakfast in Seward. I just tried the breakfast sandwich for the first time and it was INCREDIBLE! How did they make it sooooo good? I don't know... I thought for a moment about putting it down to look inside and examine what was giving it so much awesome flavor, but I couldn't stop shoveling it down my gullet. I've also had their B&G, Burritos, and my all time favorite, Carmelitas, which are breakfasty nachos. Lunch is also great! Spicy pork is my go to. Can't say enough about this local favorite! -Clay"

"We stayed in Seward in the winter, and ended up visiting Christo's during our stay. At first glance it was a nice place, but with a little time it became evident that there was not much attention paid to the decor. However, the atmosphere was still pleasant The menu is overly large, and could do with some trimming; the prices are a tad high, but considering Seward is a tourist town most of the year that's understandable. The food was good, but not particularly spectacular; we took our leftovers, but don't want to learn the recipes Service was good, but a little slow at first."

"Wouldn 't recommend to a friend. Waitress completely forgot our drinks. Thickly breaded fish was over-cooked to the point of being burnt. The clam chowder was thin bacon chowder. Go someplace else and you will definitely enjoy your dining experience more."
