What R B doesn't like about The Hofa Park Tavern:
The bar at this restaurant serves fantastic drinks. However, when my wife and I tried the fish, we had to spit it out into a napkin because it was incredibly disgusting. It tasted as if it had been sitting in the cooler, absorbing all the rotten smells. Even after breaking through the breading, the odor was still overpowering. This place is amazing! Great food! And let me tell you, at this place great service still does exist! We had the perch and the walleye. Both came to our table piping hot. It included choice of potato, a salad or coleslaw and rye bread. All excellent! View all feedback.

The fish fry taste exactly as I remember it from my youth. Best perch plate in town and the best, made from scratch Old Fashions.

The perch was amazing and the staff were fantastic. Definitely worth the trip.
Had an awesome day fishing on Saturday and the wings at this restaurant were great. The ambiance of the restaurant brought back memories of days gone by.
