before I went vegan whenever I saw shepherd's cake on a menu that was mine gone. the herbless cake was just as delicious and came out hot and steaming. it was perfect. many foreigners in the location and neighbourhood, so when they are in shanghai and feel homesick for the west it is the place to go! Came here for dinner in December 2018. It is a small space with a small table (can sit 2-3 people) and a counter by the window with 4-5 stools to sit at. Staff were friendly. We ordered the vegan Shepherd-less pie with fries and vegan onion gravy. The pie was quite tasty and was filled with vegetables. The pastry crust was good and tasted like a non-vegan pastry crust.
